second-rate circus (The Australian (08.03.06)

dubious benefits of an expensive, second-rate circus
he’s no party pin-up
dancing with star’s wife
leader urged to act
murmuring internals
not donating, dining
‘undervalued’ staff get rise
power down, prices up
snippets of meeting prove noteworty
escort had my baby: millionaire
trust me to get caught up in a relationship nightmare

Need for neighbours (The Age 08.03.06)

Need for neighbours
‘these are the cowboy documents’
seduction and strange subtext
at last, a dialogue with the greats
‘water is my element’
two men in a very leaky boat
hands-on help
bound to work
homes wanted for 72 sea creatures
hoteliers pray for late occupancy boost
brave faces all around as star goes out
